Welcome!
On behalf of Boy Scout Troop 007, welcome to our home on the World Wide Web. We are newly established in 2007 and serve Maine youth in Lewiston, Auburn and the surrounding communities. We invite you to take a look around and see the Scouting opportunities - Troop 007 style. We meet on Monday evenings from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM at the Lewiston Middle School, 75 Central Ave, Lewiston and have an Open Door Policy for visitors.
Our Number One goal is to have fun, and in doing so following the ideals of Boy Scouting that help us develop young men of exceptional character and good moral fiber. We are a boy-run Troop where participants aged 11-17 make the decisions as to the direction of the program. It may seem chaotic at times, but our job as parents and leaders is only to make sure those decisions follow Safe Scouting Guidelines. We also offer monthly activities, community service and special events including the annual mystery trip, summer trip and summer camp program.
Please take an opportunity to browse our site, and don’t forget to visit or even bookmark our Parent’s Page & Calendar which provide ongoing announcements and requests for information, as well as email and contact information should you have questions, donations or suggestions. Like Scouting, our site uses the compass as a way to orient yourself, find your way to another location or find your way home.
