New Beginnings
Annual
5K Run/Walk
BSA Troop 007 Scouts and Leaders have been chosen to be Course Marshalls for the New Beginnings 5K in Lewiston Maine. Scouts will assist with directions, traffic control, and to cheer on the racers as they make their way through the road course.
Car Care Clinic
Vineyard Church
BSA Troop 007 Scouts and Leaders assist the Vineyard Church with their Annual Free Car Care Day. They help to winterize cars for single Moms in our community.
Pumpkin Parade
Auburn, Maine
BSA Troop 007 Scouts assist in the annual Pumpkin parade. They make sure the pumpkins stay lit, control traffic and accept donations for the Maine Children's cancer program. In previous years, the Boy Scouts have collected over $5,000 in one day all going directly to the charity!

Spring Clean-up
Vineyard Church
BSA Troop 007 Scouts and Adults assist the Vineyard Church with their Spring Clean-up day on the Church Campus.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Our Troop, as part of an Eagle Project, went door-to-door to assist the City of Auburn with a recycling survey. We also passed out information on the City's recycling program
New Gloucester
First Congregational Church
Another Eagle Project! The Vestry needed insulation and our Scouts were there! They demoed the old walls and installed insulation in the historic building in order to help the church save on heating costs.
Vineyard Church, Lewiston
As a "thank you" to the Vineyard Church for all their support, another Eagle Project was to install a meditation area and memorial garden on their Campus. It invoved making concrete and wood benches as well as creating a planting area.
